The historical samples mention both jsonVersion 0.1.3 and 0.1.5. Current nexSoft parser templates still emit 0.1.3 in many places, while refractive-JSON/FullWithData.json uses 0.1.5.
Recommendation:
0.1.5 as the documentation target;0.1.3;nx-data envelope or existing dataset keys;null, empty string, or empty list defaults.
